FedupI recently downloaded (and paid for) the Regression Model Spreadsheet produced by "Business Spreadsheets".

How do I include "date" as an independant variable? (I get Error 13 Type Mismatch).

How do I include "Null Variables" (Yes - data element is NEW versus Not New).  Again - if I use 0 and 1; I get Error 13 Type Mismatch.

Please advise.

For the date values, try to format the cells as a number. You can then reformat them back in the results and forecast later. For the boolean values, try using 1 and 2 rather than 0 and 1 as using 0s will result in an error with division be zero in the program.
