Data Analyst (Excel/PowerBI) with Programming Background

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to drive actionable insights through data manipulation, visualization, and analysis. The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerBI, coupled with strong programming skills to automate processes, analyze complex datasets, and develop scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize Excel and PowerBI to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and present insights to our companies in a clear and concise manner through interactive dashboards and reports.
2. Programming and Automation: Develop scripts and macros using programming languages to automate repetitive tasks, streamline data processing, and enhance efficiency in data analysis workflows.
3. Data Manipulation and Cleansing: Cleanse and preprocess raw data from various sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability for further analysis.
4. Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical techniques and hypothesis testing to extract meaningful insights from data, identify correlations, and support data-driven decision-making processes.
5. Data Modeling and Forecasting: Build predictive models and conduct forecasting analysis to identify future trends, opportunities, and potential risks, contributing to strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements, gather insights, and deliver actionable recommendations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on data analysis, visualization, and programming.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
• Strong expertise in PowerBI or similar BI tools for data visualization and dashboard creation.
• Proficiency in programming languages for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience with statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
