ConfusedIn this case you need to set your macro security settings to Medium. You can do this by opening a blank workbook and choosing: Excel 97-2003: Tools >> Options >> Security >> Macro Security, and selecting the 'Medium' level.
Excel 2007: Click on the top left ribbon button and choose Excel Options >> Trust Center >> Trust Center Settings... >> Macro Settings and select 'Disable all macros with notification'.
Excel 2010: File >> Options >> Trust Center >> Trust Center Settings... >> Macro Settings and select 'Disable all macros with notification'.
Upon restarting Excel you should now be presented with the option to enable macros on opening the template file.
