Can this tool capture the 'Average True Range' as a value within an Excel 2010 spreadsheet?

ConfusedIf a stock symbol (like IBM) is entered then does this tool return the value of the 'average true range' and paste the value into a cell?

Thus, within the spreadsheet, the value of the ATR can be multiplied by other value.

The product which I think that you are referring to in our directory is supplied by a third party.  You can download a trial version of this solution from the listing here to test the ability to calculate the average true range.

Excel 2010 provides the ability to download the high, low, and close price for a stock symbol on a daily basis.

I can not find a function within Excel 2010 that will calculate the 'average true range'.

As I understood your products, you have the ability to calculate the 'average true range' in your Technical Analysis tool.

Is this a correct statement?

I assume that the tool referred to is the market data download from Yahoo Finance. This tool only downloads historical data that is available.

Having said that, the average true range could then be calculated separately from the downloaded data.
