ConfusedEvery time I try to run a regression I get a run-time error 9, subscript out of range.  I cant figure out what is causing this.
Also, I need to run a regression with apporximately 36-40 independent variables.  How would you say is the best way to do this?

The Runtime error 9 may occur if any of the sheets have been renamed and therefore the program cannot reference them when processing the output.

The number of independent variables that can be run is limited to 10 in order to maintain reasonable processing times on slower computers. It is unusual to have more than 10 independent variables that all hold a strong relationship to the dependent variable, without there being any multi-colinearity between them. For more than 10, You could run ten at a time and evaluate the Independent analysis to determine which ones have the strongest relationship to the dependent.
